How do I book a room?
If you know where you want to stay, you can use the quick book functionality on the homepage or on the make a booking page. If you're not sure where you're staying you can use the search box on the Find a hotel section of the homepage or on the find a hotel page. Once you find the hotel you want to stay at you will be able to check for available rooms at that hotel. Alternativeley, you can search for Supersaver and Saver rooms using the search tool. Both these options can be found on the homepage. Alternatively, you can call our sales centre on 0871 984 8484 to book by phone.
What is included in the room?
Each room is ensuite (with a bath or shower) and has a colour TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. Full details are on our 'Travelodge facilities' page.
Do you have different types of room?
We have rooms accommodating different numbers of people: A single room has a single bed and can accommodate a maximum of 1 person. A double room consists of 1 double bed and can sleep a maximum of 2 people. A twin consists of 2 single beds and can sleep a maximum of 2 people. A family room consists of a double bed, a single sofa bed and a 5ft pull out bed. They can sleep up to 3 adults or a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 16). We are unable to accommodate more than the maximum number of occupants stated above as this is against fire regulations.
Do you have rooms for families?
Yes, family rooms include a double bed plus single sofa bed and with single pullout. They can sleep up to 3 adults or a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 16). You can choose this room type when making your booking.
Do you have Accessible (disabled) facilities?
Yes, we have rooms which can accomodate disabled customers at all our hotels apart from London Covent Garden, Farringdon and Islington. We also provide ambulent rooms which are equipped for customers that suffer with mobility problems. You can choose this room type when making your booking.
Do you have special bedding for customers who suffer from allergies?
Travelodge Duvets have a feather super fill that is silicon treated lessening the potential of reaction for allergy sufferers. The pillows however are of poultry and duck feathers and have not been treated. If you suffer from allegies, then please feel free to being your own pillow with you.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Customers may bring pets at the absolute discretion of the hotel management. No more than two domesticated pets are permitted per room and must not be left unaccompanied at any time. It remains the owner’s responsibility to ensure that any pets do not cause any disturbance to other customers. This service costs £20 per pet, per stay and is payable either in advance (by selecting the service as an extra on your website booking) or at check in at the hotel. Please note that Guide dogs, Hearing dogs and other animals to aid disability are exempt from the charge (customers should select the no pets option from the extras page). What rates are available and what do they mean?

How does the shopping basket work?
You can search for rooms at different hotels or rooms on non-consecutive nights and add them to your shopping basket up to a maximum of 9 rooms. Please note that only 4 rooms can be added to your basket at any one time. These rooms will then be held in your basket until you are ready to complete your booking and proceed to check out. You will need to enter your details only once in order to process the whole booking.
Will the rooms in my shopping basket be held indefinitely?
Your rooms will be held as long as your session on the website is still active i.e. if you are still searching and browsing the site, the rooms will be held for you. If your session on the website expires, your rooms may not be held. This will occur if you do not search or browse on the site for a period of time and you will be notified of the status of your booking.
What is a group booking?
A group booking is a booking for 10 or more rooms. These can be made online by Travelodge website members from the Make a group booking page.
Can I book on behalf of someone else?
Yes you can. When adding a room to your basket tick the box marked I am booking on the behalf of someone else. Payment for these rooms must be via a credit or debit card at the time of booking.
