Today, London Irish players, Danie Coetzee and Bryan Rennie joined Grant Hearn, Travelodge chief Executive to officially open Sunbury M3 Travelodge. The 131-room hotel represents a 5.2 million investment in the town, creating 25 new jobs. Situated on Hanworth Road, Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex, TW16 5DJ the new Travelodge will offer rooms from 26 per night.

To celebrate the official opening of the hotel pupils from Ignatius Primary School were set a project of drawing their dream bedroom. Grant Hearn selected the winning picture, drawn by Gaby Heuchan aged 9 years.

Gaby also won a weekend stay at any UK Travelodge hotel of her choice for her family and her picture will be hung in the hotel reception area. All pupils were also awarded a goodie bag.

Grant Hearn, Travelodge CEO said: "There is a desperate need for low-cost accommodation within Sunbury-on-Thames and our new hotel will help to meet this demand. We sell rooms from as little as 26 per night and our central location is perfect whether meeting on business or on a leisure trip with friends."

James Durbin, Sales and Commercial Manager for London Irish said: "We would like to wish Sunbury M3 Travelodge every success for the future on behalf of London Irish Rugby Club. This is very good news for the local community, giving people even more choice when looking for accommodation in the area."

Sunbury M3 Travelodge is the first hotel to be built with the hotel chain's new room design. Created in a contemporary style, incorporating a red, white and blue colour scheme, the new room is furnished with zebrano rich tone furnishings and mood setting coloured lighting. Also included in the room is a digital flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. The rooms en-suite facilities have also been updated to reflect the new style.

Sunbury M3 Travelodge will offer a choice of either family, double or disabled rooms. Each room provides a comfortable setting with en-suite bathroom, luxury king size bed, colour TV and free tea and coffee making facilities.
