Fermanagh Lakes:
The area known as the Lake District of Northern Ireland is perfectly picturesque, particularly when the lakeside forests change colour. The area is great for peaceful walks, boating and fishing too. Giant’s Causeway:
It’s one of the most recognisable geological formations in the world, but that doesn’t make it any less impressive the first time you see it in person. Around this time of the year, the sea is getting rougher, which makes Giant’s Causeway all the more spectacular with waves throwing sea spray into the air. Rock of Cashel, Tipperary:
This impressive castle on top of a rocky outcrop is ominous at all times of the year, but as we get towards dark evenings and Halloween, the sight of this castle gets the added spook factor. Skellig Islands:

The panoramic views of the whole of Dublin are breathtaking, particularly as the seasons change and the air gets fresher. Erris Head:
The rocky cliffs at Erris Head are used as a navigation point by many local fishermen and sailors when out at sea but actually, the view from them is even better than the sight of them, so if you’re looking for somewhere to go for a brisk Autumn walk, this headland is ideal. The height and the walk there aren’t for the faint-hearted, but this is the place to visit to feel refreshed in preparation for the slow arrival of winter.
