The Best of July’s Festivals

Getting a better look at the band

Ah, July. The peak of summer and the month of music festivals. For those still debating which events to get tickets for, here is a sample of some of the biggest and best festivals coming up this July:

Wireless: Kanye West, Drake, Ellie Goulding, Bruno Mars… the list goes one. The biggest names in the music industry will be on stage in London’s Finsbury Park, and Birmingham’s Perry Park between the 4th and 6th July. To avoid the chaos of public transport after the end of each day, book a room in one of our hotels nearby. Our Birmingham Perry Barr hotel is right next to Perry Park where the Birmingham action will be taking place.

T in the Park: One of Scotland’s biggest festivals, from 11th – 13th July, will feature the likes of Calvin Harris, Biffy Clyro, and Arctic Monkeys this year. Our Kinross M90 hotel is less than a mile from the site, so if you fancy skipping the camping, book a room for a bit of comfort.

Wavestock: If the beach bum lifestyle is your thing, Wavestock is the festival for you. See Tom Odell and Razorlight among many others, as well as some epic displays of wakeboarding and join in with a variety of beach related entertainment and activities between 11th and 13th July.

Electric Daisy Carnival: EDC is for hardcore partiers only. The 11th and 12th July will be wild at the Milton Keynes Bowl, with headliners like Avicii, Steve Aoki, and Fatboy Slim. Stay in our Milton Keynes Central hotel to be just a mile from the event.

Latitude: Described as “The Queen of Arts Festivals”, this event is ideal for anyone looking for a more rounded experience. If you like your music with a dose of visual art, movies, comedy, and more, you need to be in Suffolk between 17th and 20th July.

Lovebox: If you’re into dance music and dancing your socks off, Lovebox, in London’s Victoria Park from 18th – 19th July, is your dream festival. With a programme including Chase & Status, and M.I.A., this event will be party, party, party. Stay in our London Bethnal Green hotel for the weekend to be within walking distance.

Secret Garden Party: For something a bit different, head to the Secret Garden Party between 24th and 27th July. The beautiful garden setting is packed full of mystery, surprises and creativity for the weekend. Expect big name performers and a wonderland atmosphere.

Global Gathering: The name says it all – this festival is an event on a global scale. To see David Guetta, The Prodigy, and Tinie Tempah, get tickets for this mega party. If you don’t feel like camping, our Stratford-Upon-Avon hotel is a short drive away.
