Day 1

Breakfast

Start your morning the right way, and get ready for a busy day ahead by filling up on our delicious, unlimited breakfast.

Tower of London

Kick-off your minibreak with a visit to the Tower of London, just a short walk or tube ride from the hotel. This 1000 year old castle and notorious prison is home to the extravagant crown jewels, which gleam with glitz and glamour. It’s no surprise this is one of the most visited attractions globally, as you can catch a glimpse of the largest top quality cut white diamond in the world.

Tower Bridge

Once you’ve met the ravens and imagined yourself draped in royal regalia, cross the river by one of London’s true landmarks. Recognised around the world, the picture postcard perfect Tower Bridge is an ideal backdrop for your London insta shot. Thanks to the recent installation of a glass walkway, you can now get a totally different view from the bridge. Walk 40m above the Thames on enormous glass panels as you stare down at boats and busses passing by. For an unforgettable experience time your visit to coincide with the bridge opening to allow larger boats through and see the mechanisms at work.

The View from The Shard

From Tower Bridge it’s a short walk along the south bank to the tallest building in Western Europe. Standing at 309.9m tall, with 11,000 glass panels, and 306 flights of stairs, it’s no surprise it takes 3 months just to clean the windows of the vertical city that is The Shard. Shoot up to the top of the building (there is a lift, you’ll be glad to hear) and soak in what is arguably the greatest view in Britain, included with this great trip to London, courtesy of The View from The Shard. There are 3 floors dedicated to the breathtaking vista, including the open air Skydeck, where you can feel the elements and hear the faint noise of the bustling city far below. Even the toilet cubicles have glass panelling, so you won’t miss any time taking in the view when nature calls.

Lunch at Lobos Tapas

Beautiful fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection with flare and panache to bring out the fullest of flavours. Lobos Tapas will have you howling for more by the end of your meal. Just a few minutes walk from The Shard you’ll find this quality eatery tucked in a railway arch. With a location as cool as it’s dishes, lunch at Lobos is a dining experience not soon forgotten.

London Eye

Walk to London Bridge underground station, jump on the Jubilee line to Waterloo, and make your way to the biggest Ferris Wheel in Britain. Standing 135m tall, the London Eye is the fourth largest observation wheel in the world, and has exceptional views across the river to the Houses of Parliament.

Big Ben & Houses of Parliament

Having seen it from the sky, cross the river and get up close to the intricate architecture of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Whilst being one of the most famous towers in the world, few know it’s real name, the Elizabeth Tower. Big Ben is a nickname for the largest bell in the tower. Weighing in at a whopping 13.7 tonnes, the title is well deserved. Whilst Elizabeth Tower is closed for refurbishment until next year, you are able to take a tour of The Houses Parliament, and see the Seat of Power in the UK.

Dinner at Planet Hollywood

Everyone loves films. Everyone loves food. Welcome to Planet Hollywood, where movie buffs can get a mouthful of delish food and an eyeful of amazing memorabilia at the same time. And you could too with a 2-course meal, courtesy of Planet Hollywood, included with this great prize stay in London. Highlights from the collection of A-list memorabilia include Han solo frozen in carbonite from Star Wars, a cow carcass from the iconic Rocky meat-punching training scene, and an entire room dedicated to Bond, James Bond. It’s just a short walk or bus ride from Big Ben to get here.

Drinks at Basement Sate

Cocktails, and puddings, and shots. Oh My! Kansas is nice, but there’s no place like Basement Sate. Get whisked off to a world of mixological wizardry and deliciously deceptive desserts in this effortlessly cool cocktail bar. Saunter through trendy Soho to find this classy establishment, styled with dark wood, low lighting, and intimate spaces. Stay till late and break out your dancing shoes as the DJ injects some rhythm into this otherwise low-key cocktail bar.

Day 2

Breakfast

Whether you’re in the mood for some continental croissants or a filling fry-up, get ready to start your second fun-packed day with our delicious breakfast offerings.

Covent Garden

Renowned for its luxury stores, theatres, and award-winning restaurants, Covent Garden is one of the most desirable locations in all of London. Just jump on the Circle or District lines from the hotel to get here. Wander around the beautiful Apple Market, now filled with boutique shops and eateries, before catching some free entertainment outside. From music to magic there’s always a performance or two going on in Covent Garden, and you can normally find a quality show outside St Paul’s Church. Or, you could challenge a living statue to a staring competition.

Neal’s Yard

Tucked away in Covent Garden you’ll find this colourful little area known as Neal’s Yard. Walk down narrow cobbled streets between rainbow bright buildings to a little corner of peaceful paradise. It’d be a shame to pass through this vivid square too fast, so why not stop off for a morning coffee and slice of something sweet.

Coffee & Cake at Jacob the Angel

Jacob the Angel is a quality little coffee shop and café in Neal’s Yard. Scrumptious pastries and cakes are made each morning by their chefs, and they don’t disappoint. Little bites of delight include their must-try coconut cream pie and orange polenta cake. And you can eat your treat guilt-free at Jacob the Angel, as all the produce is ethically sourced and all packing is recyclable or biodegradable.

Pollock’s Toy Museum

Finish off those last few crumbs and catch the Northern line to an area of London that few know, and fewer can pronounce, Fitzrovia. A mix of shopping, business and residential, Fitzrovia is not greatly appreciate as a tourist destination, but there are a couple of gems here worth checking out. One of which is Pollock’s Toy Museum. Part museum, part toy shop, this little place is chock full of fantastic toys from all eras, including an ancient Egyptian toy mouse with moving parts, dated from 2,000 B.C. See if you can find your favourite childhood toy from this extensive collection.

Lunch at The Attendant

A café in a toilet. Doesn’t sound like the best of settings, but trust us, The Attendant is not going down the pan anytime soon. Walk down the stairs of a Victorian gentlemen’s lavatory and you’ll find yourself transported to a beautifully traditional little café and coffee shop, that uses the original fixtures and fittings to fullest effect. Just a short walk from the toy museum, you can stop here for a delicious lunch, made fresh by talented chefs, with locally and ethically sourced ingredients.

Trafalgar Square & National Gallery

Once your lunch has settled, get the Bakerloo Line from Oxford Circus to Charing Cross and head into the grandiose Trafalgar Square. This large square was designed to commemorate Lord Nelson’s victory in the Battle of Trafalgar, for which he is immortalised in statue form at the top of the 53m tall Nelson’s column. Set on Trafalgar Square is the National Gallery, one of the finest collections of art in the world. It’s easy enough to spend a whole day in here, but for the time-limited some must-see paintings include Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and Whistlejacket by Stubbs.

The Crystal Maze Live Experience

Will you start the fans please. No starting required, we’re all fans of The Crystal Maze. And we’ve all shouted from the sofa at a less-than able contestant who clearly has no idea how to win the crystal and is inevitably going to be left behind by their team for not being worth more than 5 seconds of Dome time. Well, now you can be that hopeless contestant. Just a short walk from Trafalgar Square, you’ll take part in an uncanny recreation of the Crystal Maze, with a flamboyant host to lead you through Medieval, Industrial, Futuristic, and Aztec zones, testing your abilities in physical, mental, skill and mystery challenges. Win crystals to grant you time in the Crystal Dome and see if you can master the maze. We’re giving away two tickets to this fantastic activity included with this trip, courtesy of The Crystal Maze Live Experience.

Dinner at Inamo

Head north into Soho to find the future of food. Using state-of-the-art interactive technology, Inamo offers a snapshot of dining decades from now. Use the table like a touchscreen to access the menu, order your meal, and ask for the bill. Perfect for a first date, there’s no need to worry about conversation falling flat at Inamo as you and your beau can stay entertained playing tabletop games or watching a live feed on the chef-cam. And that’s all before you mention the mouth-watering food. All manner of treats from Asia, cooked to perfection. Award-winning Inamo is the ideal blend of fun and food.

Drinks at ICEBAR London

Cool off from the hot streets of London and experience life within the Arctic Circle as you head over to ICEBAR London. With teeth-chattering temperatures of -5°C, you’ll be given a much needed pair of thermal gloves and a fur lined cape to keep you toasty. This year’s theme summons the spirit of the Vikings with Valhalla Calling.
