The company\u2019s 43rd Scottish hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. It represents an investment of \u00a35 million for the landlord and has created 22 new jobs within the community. Inverness City Centre Travelodge, the company\u2019s 557th hotel, is located on Academy Street and has been built in a record time of 15 months. The 54-room Travelodge is the company\u2019s first hotel in Inverness to feature a Bar Caf\u00e9 offering a great value breakfast, dinner and bar menu.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel has been styled in the company\u2019s new upgraded contemporary brand design which has been influenced by feedback from business and leisure customers and features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a selection of room designs: family, double and accessible<\/li>\n<li>the bespoke luxurious king-size \u2018Travelodge Dreamer Bed\u2019 with moonlight surround lighting and bedside USB charging points in every room<\/li>\n<li>softer LED ceiling lighting providing a warmer ambiance<\/li>\n<li>free Wifi for 30 minutes<\/li>\n<li>a Samsung 32 inch digital television with remote control<\/li>\n<li>complimentary tea &amp;amp; coffee making facilities<\/li>\n<li>individual beds for the children in all family rooms, or twin beds for sharing adults<\/li>\n<li>an en-suite bathroom with power shower as standard<\/li>\n<li>an unlimited breakfast menu at just \u00a38.25 and an unlimited lighter breakfast at just \u00a35.95 in the Bar Caf\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>For each paying adult, two children eat for free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The hotel was officially opened today by The Provost of Inverness &amp; Area, Councillor Helen Carmichael and Travelodge\u2019s new UK Operations Director, Glaswegian Nigel Mackenzie. Inverness City Centre Travelodge is being managed by Mark Carrington who has worked in the hospitality industry for over a decade. A very experienced manager, Mark managed Travelodge Inverness hotel since 2015, before taking on the new role in the flagship City Centre hotel. Inverness City Centre Travelodge is the company\u2019s fourth hotel in the Scottish Highlands.
