With the Highlands, the Isles of Shetland and Orkney, and Leadhills in South Lanarkshire all featuring amongst the snowiest places in the UK your chances are pretty good. However, a visit to one of the many lochs of Argyll and Bute is a great way to soak up the scenery. The vast bodies of water and their surrounds have an enchanting feel during the winter months, so it\u2019s well worth the trip north to take in the sights, and just across the Crianlarich Hills, Loch Earn is also a jaw-dropping sight.<\/p>\n
