Along with a budget friendly price, the Christmas room also comes packed full of seasonal features including: A Christmas scene feature mural with Father Christmas and Rudolph.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\n<li>A stylish 6ft high pine Christmas tree<\/li>\n<li>Christmassy red and white bedding<\/li>\n<li>A snow carpet<\/li>\n<li>Festive pre-lit garlands creating a magical setting<\/li>\n<li>Red blackout curtains<\/li>\n<li>Stacks of decorative Christmas presents<\/li>\n<li>Complementary hot chocolate and mince pies<\/li>\n<li>Bedside power\/charging points perfect for powering back up after those Santa selfies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The launch follows research by Travelodge into what makes people feel Christmassy. The results spoke volumes with a massive 83% of people saying they love Christmas, with 63% saying that the key feature that makes them feel festive is a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Over half of those asked said that a room clad with Christmas decorations and lights made them festive, while 52% said that seeing a stack of presents piled high gets them in the seasonal spirit.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blog-quote\" style=\"background-color:#96231a; border:1px solid #96231a;\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:15px !important;\"><strong>Shakila Ahmed<\/strong>, spokeswoman for Travelodge said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChristmas is such a magical time, so to mark the opening of our latest hotel, York Monks Cross Travelodge, we thought it would be fun to create a \u2018Wonderful Christmas\u2019 themed room.
