Whilst Elizabeth Tower is closed for refurbishment until next year, you are able to take a tour of The Houses Parliament, and see the Seat of Power in the UK.<\/p>\n

Little bites of delight include their must-try coconut cream pie and orange polenta cake. And you can eat your treat guilt-free at Jacob the Angel, as all the produce is ethically sourced and all packing is recyclable or biodegradable.<\/p>\n

Pollock’s Toy Museum<\/h5>\n

\nFinish off those last few crumbs and catch the Northern line<\/span><\/a> to an area of London that few know, and fewer can pronounce, Fitzrovia. A mix of shopping, business and residential, Fitzrovia is not greatly appreciate as a tourist destination, but there are a couple of gems here worth checking out. One of which is Pollock’s Toy Museum<\/span><\/a>. Part museum, part toy shop, this little place is chock full of fantastic toys from all eras, including an ancient Egyptian toy mouse with moving parts, dated from 2,000 B.C. See if you can find your favourite childhood toy from this extensive collection.<\/p>\n

Lunch at The Attendant<\/h5>\n

\nA caf\u00e9 in a toilet. Doesn’t sound like the best of settings, but trust us, The Attendant<\/span><\/a> is not going down the pan anytime soon. Walk down the stairs of a Victorian gentlemen’s lavatory and you’ll find yourself transported to a beautifully traditional little caf\u00e9 and coffee shop, that uses the original fixtures and fittings to fullest effect. Just a short walk<\/span><\/a> from the toy museum, you can stop here for a delicious lunch, made fresh by talented chefs, with locally and ethically sourced ingredients.<\/p>\n

Trafalgar Square & National Gallery<\/h5>\n

\nOnce your lunch has settled, get the Bakerloo Line from Oxford Circus to Charing Cross<\/span><\/a> and head into the grandiose Trafalgar Square. This large square was designed to commemorate Lord Nelson’s victory in the Battle of Trafalgar, for which he is immortalised in statue form at the top of the 53m tall Nelson’s column. Set on Trafalgar Square is the National Gallery<\/span><\/a>, one of the finest collections of art in the world. It’s easy enough to spend a whole day in here, but for the time-limited some must-see paintings include Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and Whistlejacket by Stubbs.<\/p>\n
