Travelodge is opening six hotels in the lead up to Christmas<\/h3>\n

These six hotels represent an appropriate investment value of \u00a345 million for third party investors and will boost our company\u2019s portfolio to 595 hotels in the UK, Ireland and Spain. (This includes over 44,500 rooms which include over 1,800 SuperRooms)<\/span><\/p>\n

The new hotel locations include: Chippenham, Edinburgh, London Dagenham & Beckton, Rochester and Sittingbourne.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The six Travelodge hotels opening over the next 12 weeks includes one Travelodge Plus hotel, two hotels featuring SuperRooms, three new towns getting their first Travelodge and four hotels with an on-site restaurant called the Bar Caf\u00e9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chippenham Travelodge<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\n

This is our third hotel in Chippenham and this opening also marks Travelodge becoming the town\u2019s largest budget hotelier. Located in the town centre close to the railway station the hotel is ideally placed for visiting Bowood House and Gardens.\u00a0 It is also just four miles from the stone built village of Lacock which is owned by the National Trust and dates back to the 13<\/span>th<\/span> century and looks the same as it did 200 years ago.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rochester Travelodge<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\n

Our first hotel in Rochester is located in the quaint town centre by the railway station and a few minutes walk to Rochester Cathedral and Castle.\u00a0 Rochester is deeply connected with Charles Dickens. Many of his novels include references to Rochester and the surrounding area where today two festivals are held in his honour, the Dickens and Dickensian Christmas Festival, where people dress up and re-enact characters from his books.<\/span><\/p>\n

London – Dagenham<\/span><\/a> & Beckton<\/span><\/a> Travelodge hotels<\/h4>\n

We are opening two hotels in London in the lead up to Christmas; these two additions will boost our portfolio in the Capital to 77.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The new Dagenham Travelodge is our second hotel in the area; our first Dagenham hotel opened in 2018. We are also opening our first Travelodge hotel in Beckton which will feature SuperRooms \u2013 the company\u2019s \u2018premium economy\u2019 room-type, featuring Lavazza coffee machines, irons and ironing boards, USB power outlets and a more comfortable desk and desk chair and a mini-chiller cabinet.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are looking for a trip to London then both of these hotels are the ideal choices as they offer easy access into central London.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Edinburgh Park Travelodge Plus<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\n

This hotel will be our first new build Travelodge Plus hotel in Scotland. We currently have 46 hotels in Scotland and 11 in Edinburgh, which also has a second Travelodge Plus hotel in the city.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Travelodge Plus hotels feature new look standard rooms, SuperRooms and a stylish new Bar Cafe.\u00a0 It is designed to give you all the great value you expect from a Travelodge with added style and comfort with little touches to make it easier to work and relax both inside and outside the room.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hotel is located close to the Edinburgh Park Railway station which offers easy access into the city centre as well as Glasgow and Stirling and the airport.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sittingbourne<\/span><\/a><\/h4>\n

This is the first Travelodge hotel in Sittingbourne and is located in the heart of the town centre.
