Aldeburgh Beach<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

Aldeburgh is a quaint and unspoilt seaside town with sand shingle beaches that stretch for miles, and there is plenty to explore on and around the coast. Along the beachfront are any number of quirky historic buildings, including the 400-year-old Moot Hall, a Martello tower, a converted windmill and a Norman church. The Moot Hall, lookout towers and the lifeboat station offer extensive views up the coastline to Thorpeness down to Orford Ness. The art scene also remains vibrant in Aldeburgh, with several galleries, most notably Caroline Wiseman\u2019s housed in the South Lookout right on the beach. Otherwise, you can watch the fishermen pull their boats onto the shingle and sell their catch from a nearby hut while enjoying fresh fish and chips, rated as the best on the East coast!<\/span><\/p>

Lowestoft South Beach<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

Something of a classic seaside town, Lowestoft has a refurbished seafront and promenade, providing easy access to the sand. The beach is great for children, hosting a variety of watersports such as swimming, paddleboarding, surfing, windsurfing and jet-skiing with seasonal lifeguard service. It is certainly easy to see how composer Benjamin Britten’s early pieces were inspired by the town.<\/p>
