The mobile food scene has been growing around the UK for the last few years, and there’s no better place to try some of the delicious dishes and mouthwatering morsels on offer than in the capital. Often seen by foodies as the top of the outdoor food stops in the capital, Borough Market offers a heady mix of flavours and scents from some of the UK’s leading artisan food makers. Wander through the stalls and taste foods from across the UK, including delicious oysters and possibly the UK’s best grilled cheese sandwich. Our top tip: keep your eyes peeled for Hotel Chocolat’s cast-offs stand, selling misshapen truffles for bargain prices. 2. Brixton Market<\/strong><\/p>\n

A newer addition to the London foodie scene, Brixton Market is now buzzing with activity day and night. There’s plenty to choose from along the old market alleyways including pizza, burgers and delicious curries. If you really want to get to grips with the best of the market then opt for a guided food walk from Fox & Squirrel<\/span><\/a>. You’ll get a healthy dose of insight and history of the various parts of the market, as well as behind-the-scenes tours and enough food per person to feed a small family.<\/p>\n

Well, that’s the idea behind Kerb, the fashionable food market with sites across the capital. Their King’s Cross site is possibly the best known, serving up tasty bites from at least five ever-changing vendors from noon-2pm each day. This is the place to come to enjoy fresh food and flavours from new chefs and businesses. There’s also a comfy seating area overlooking the canal. 4. Broadway Market and Netil Market<\/strong><\/p>\n

On a Saturday morning the area around London Fields becomes packed with delicious food stalls selling freshly baked breads and luxurious pastries and cheese.
