Dorota, Hotel Manager

Dorota has conquered the York market and worked her way up from one of our Housekeepers to managing one of our York hotels. She has had a huge influence on her Hotel Team Members and continuously encourages improvement and growth. Dorota always makes time for extreme sports ensuring her bucket list gets regularly ticked off.

    Having started in the business as a Housekeeper in our 93-bedroom York Central property, Dorota quickly discovered her passion for people and soon realised that she could easily further her career with Travelodge.

    Looking to gain more knowledge and skills, Dorota moved to our slightly larger site at York Micklegate, a property of 103 rooms. Our Management Development Programme really helped build her confidence.

    She then came back to York Central as Assistant Hotel Manager, where Dorota used her newly learnt experiences and knowledge from her training, to coach her team and deliver key results.
