Hana, District Manager

Hana is a true people person and keen to develop her team as well as herself. She has been on a fantastic journey; from running a 50-bedroom hotel, all the way up to becoming a District Manager of 12 hotels – achieving all this at the same time as bringing up two children.

  • Assistant Hotel Manager, Manchester Airport

    Oct 2005 - Oct 2006

    Hana started off at our Manchester Airport site, which is a busy hotel close by to the airport with over 200 bedrooms and a family-feel team.

  • Hotel Manager, Manchester Trafford Park

    Oct 2006 - Oct 2007

    She then moved on to her first hotel as the Hotel Manager for the Manchester Trafford Park hotel, which is the perfect base for the Trafford Centre with 54 bedrooms. This opportunity gave her the room to grow as a Manager and to develop her managerial skills.

    Her next challenge was a slightly bigger hotel: the Manchester Birch M62 Westbound and Eastbound hotels, with 90 rooms and a team of dedicated hotel team members who support the great success of the hotel

    Perfectly placed in the heart of this Northern city, Hana was keen to understand the busy bar cafe site at our Manchester Central hotel, which is ideal for those wanting to be at the centre of the action with 181 bedrooms and a large bar cafe.

    Nov 2010 - Feb 2012

    Growing 15 sites in North Wales, from Chester to Bangor, Hana worked with her Managers to deliver targets and exceed customers’ expectations – whilst taking 4 months maternity leave to have her first child too.

    Feb 2012- Feb 2015

    Hana then challenged herself with 14 sites in Lancashire and Cumbria, managing close to 1,000 rooms, continuously developing her team and, in this time, had a short break whilst on maternity to raise her 2nd child.

    Mar 2015 - Dec 2017

    Hana was the District Manager for Manchester, running several big sites, which equated to a high volume of revenue for Travelodge.

    Dec 2017 - Present

    Hana’s new role now is to manage 11 of our most profitable sites across the UK from Bristol to Edinburgh.
