Maddie, Hotel Manager

Maddie has been with Travelodge for four years and in that time, has moved across seven different sites with different challenges. Starting as a Hotel Team Member and successfully joining the Management Development Programme has resulted in Maddie becoming a very successful Hotel Manager in our Richmond Travelodge. Her four-month break to travel the world and experience different cultures, has also helped to make her the great Manager that she is.

    Maddie joined the business in a brand-new hotel when it opened in 2013. With 113 bedrooms, it was a great opportunity for Maddie to learn all about Travelodge.

  • Assistant Hotel Manager, Clapham Junction and Walton-on-thames

    Mar 2014 - Feb 2015

    Maddie was successful in going through our Management Development Programme, which gave her the confidence to be the Assistant Manager for two sites – an 82-bed property in Clapham and a 32-bed in Walton-on-Thames.

    Feb 2015 - Mar 2016

    Her next challenge was when she was the Assistant Hotel Manager at the Heathrow T5 hotel, which is a very busy 297-bed bar cafe site.

  • Assistant Hotel Manager, Kew Bridge

    March 2016 - March 2017

    Maddie stepped out of the airport site and into a new challenge at Kew Bridge, a 111-bed bar cafe site and perfect for business and leisure customers travelling into London.

    Taking on her own hotel, Maddie has been very successful in managing the 78-bed property – which has proven to be one of our best performing hotels in the area. She is also championing many initiatives in her district, such as food and beverage and equality and diversity.
