Nichola, Regional Director

Thirteen years ago, Nichola joined the business in her first role as a Manager. Since then, she’s played a key role in the success of her hotels – she is now the Regional Director of our North region and is heavily involved in the growth of our business.

  • Assistant Hotel Manager, Liverpool Central

    June 04 - 2007

    Nichola’s journey with Travelodge began at our Liverpool Central hotel, strong of 105 rooms. This opportunity allowed Nichola to really understand the business and grow.

  • Hotel Manager, Liverpool Central

    March 2007 - 2009

    Her next step was to leap into the Hotel Manager role at the same hotel, where she ensured that her team delivered world-class service, at the same time as learning how to manage effectively.

  • District Manager, North West

    Juy 2009 - June 11

    In her next role as District Manager, Nichola grew 18 sites in the North West, working closely with her Managers to deliver targets and exceed customers’ expectations through staff coaching and training

  • District Manager, Cheshire and Staffordshire

    June 2011 - Feb 12

    Overseeing 20 hotels – from small 30-bedroom hotels, to sites with large teams and over 100 rooms – Nichola quickly built her name up as one of our strongest District Managers.

    Feb 2012 - Jan 2014

    As District Manager for the Manchester area, she ran a number of large sites equating to a high volume of revenue for Travelodge.

  • Associate Regional Director, Midlands

    Jan 2014 - Jan 2015

    Nichola then supported the Regional Director with the running of 11 Districts, with a key focus on team and customers.

    Jan 2015 - Present

    With 11 direct reports, Nichola is now responsible for the running of close to 200 sites with over 10,000 rooms across our Central Region. She has built great relationships with all her team.
