Paul, District Manager

Being a Hotel Manager for over seven years gave Paul a real insight into the wonderful world that is Travelodge. He has progressed his career through city centre locations and onto a District Manager role, looking after over 12 sites.

  • Hotel Manager, Wirral Eastham

    Paul’s exciting journey started with managing a small 30 bed roadside hotel in an excellent location and with a dedicated team.

    Mar 2005 - Oct 2007

    To continue his development, he then became the Hotel Manager of a 54-bedroom hotel that has a diverse customer mix.

    Paul managed two sites with just over 80 rooms in total, managing two teams and two targets, at the same time as always pushing for excellence.

    Wanting a new challenge, Paul opened our Liverpool Central the Strand hotel in 2011; the hotel is a 141-bed large bar cafe hotel in the heart of Liverpool.

    Liverpool ticked off the list, his next role was at our Manchester Central hotel, with its ideal location, 181 bedrooms and a large bar cafe.

    His first multi-site role was to manage 14 hotels in Cheshire – overseeing staff development and ensuring continuous great experiences for our customers.

    Paul’s current role now revolves around growing 15 sites in the North West. Paul works with his Managers to deliver targets and exceed customers’ expectations through ongoing training, fun and coaching.
