Job Description
The job in a nutshell

As a Change and implementation Manager you'll work as part of our central ops team planning and leading the change activity and implementation of a variety of projects across the Travelodge estate. You’ll be working collaboratively with the Project team and Operations to design and deliver the change activity using change methodologies and lessons learnt.


In addition you’ll use systematic root cause approaches to inform the continuous improvement of working practices, as well as support the development, improvement and communication of the hotel operating model.


What you’ll be doing


  • Deliver Change into the Organisation through the application of ‘best in class’ project and change management

  • Develop and lead the cross functional plan for implementations, and drive the execution of the plan to time and budget

  • Work closely with Project and Operational teams to deliver the projects objectives

  • Be the Operational subject matter expert on centrally derived projects

  • Project Manage Operationally derived projects to ensure they are delivered on time, to budget and of agreed quality to realise benefits

  • Track progress developing and implementing visual management to support a focus on key metrics for all stakeholders and early warnings of issues or improvements

  • Effectively manage stakeholders in the interests of Project delivery to ensure alignment with project objectives and solutions

  • Continuously review and improve the approach to the implementation of standard work and process improvement across the estate, working to make things as simple as possible for the hotel teams

  • Coordinate cross functional teams that gather data to evaluate current processes and identify improvement strategies

  • Work collaboratively with the Central Operations team to support it achieving its objectives




What we’ll expect from you


To succeed in the role you’ll have previous Project Management and Business Change experience and / or  Operational experience in the hospitality sector and be able to engage and manage senior stakeholders.


In addition you’ll need to demonstrate:


  • Experience of facilitating groups

  • Experience of leading and managing projects

  • Being self-motivated and driven and your ability to work collaboratively with others.

  • Decision making based on analytical insight and experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll be comfortable working with and presenting to all levels

  • Good communication skills, with a can-do approach.

  • Excel & Power point to an advanced level would be desirable

  • Experience of using continuous improvement tools & methodology in the service sector would be advantageous
