Job Description

The job in a nutshell

As our Hotel Activity Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the timely delivery of the Hotel Activity and Operational communications.

The role is pivotal to supporting our Hotels to deliver the Perfect Stay. You will communicate operational messages and business news to ensure our colleagues stay in the know and Support the delivery of Hotel Activity.  

What you’ll be doing 

  • Coordinate business as usual internal communications activity:

    • Support with writing and publishing Manager’s Weekly Actions and Our News (newsletter)

    • Moderate internal social media channels - Over to You and Team Travelodge. Post content to encourage wider use of these channels.

    • Check all inboxes and reply to questions submitted within the SLA.

    • Proactively work with Sleepy Hollow departments and operations to source news and stories

    • Keep the intranet (The Latest) up to date with news stories and articles.

    • Manage the running of the Sleepy Hollow huddle and work with the Internal Communications Manager to plan speakers and ensure calendar invites are in the diary

  • Support the Operations Planning Manager with:

    • Coordinate key Governance meetings including the preparation of agendas and action

    • Preparation and printing of packs for Governance meetings

  • Day to day support:

    • Arrange all activity with hotels to ensure the smooth running of key trials, events and activities

    • Manage the Hotel queries that are received through the Central Operations mailboxes

    • Communicate with Hotels to provide support, gain feedback or generate action

    • Collate Hotel information to support Projects and Business Activity

    • Produce hotel information in the correct format for stakeholders

    • Managing Hotel Incentives

    • Diary management of cross functional meetings

    • Note taking at key meetings

    • Support Central Operations Director as required

    • Plan key operations meetings such as ROMs/DOMs, Town hall meetings, We’re Listening calls and track attendance

  • Work with the Revenue PA to plan and drive fundraising activities for the BHF.

  • Support the continuous updating and improving of the Operations Manual
