The job in a nutshell


As IT New Openings Coordinator in our IT infrastructure team, you will coordinate day to day with third party suppliers in the areas of networks, telephony and infrastructure applications. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong coordination skills who wants to start a career in IT, build technical understanding and play a key role in the delivery of IT projects.

What you’ll be doing


  • Coordinate IT components of new openings, working closely with our new openings team and coordinate internal and third parties deliverables

  • Place equipment and consulting orders with various suppliers in line with the process

  • Coordinate delivery dates of project activities

  • Engage regularly and independently with various suppliers to schedule planned work visits and ensure progress

  • Ensure internal systems / trackers, documentation and dashboards are updated accurately and regularly with each new opening progress information

  • Manage project documents in accordance with company expectations

  • Build good relationship with suppliers

  • Attend and take notes in regular supplier meetings and conference calls

  • Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues

  • Resolving minor issues related to projects

  • Ensure all project deliverables are effectively transitioned into opening activities, working closely with third party service providers and new opening’s support partners to ensure all the requirements are met

  • Prioritise and action several tasks at a time

  • Administrate the project budget and expenditure

  • Raise and receipt purchase orders with the approval of line manager

What we’ll expect from you


To succeed in this role, you’ll have project coordination or administration experience in complex projects within a fast paced and customer focused environment


You’ll be a tenacious self-starter who is comfortable working at a pace and under pressure and with delivery oriented targets where planning, organising and communication are critical


You’ll have passion and willingness for learning and understanding Infrastructure technology and demonstrate the learnings as you evolve in the role.

  • Strong Excel and dashboard design skills

  • Excellent organisational, scheduling skills and keen eye for detail

  • The ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders across the business

  • Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure and systems is a plus, but not essential

  • Basic knowledge of processing purchase orders

  • Proactive, team-player who can manage multiple competing priorities

  • Good emotional intelligence people skills

  • Willingness to contribute in an energetic and positive fashion

  • Additional experience in a technical role is a plus, but not essential

  • Degree or equivalent certification in related field is a plus, but not essential


In addition you’ll need to demonstrate:


  • Excellent written/oral skills, analytical, problem solving and presentation skills

  • Previous project coordination or administration experience
