The job in a nutshell 

As our Reward Analyst you’ll support the Head of Reward in managing the administration and coordination of annual and day-to-day compensation and benefits activities.

What you will be doing: 


  • Assist with the accurate and timely administration of cyclical and periodic reward processes.

  • Drive the financial element of the Travelodge “Better Me” wellbeing strategy

  • Assist with the development and implementation of variable pay initiatives

  • Oversee cyclical reviews of our benefits

  • Manage our car fleet to ensure maximum use of resources 

  • Maintain governance around our pay frameworks and advise/ provide training on governance issues.

  • Conduct pay reporting to understand potential equity issues, including assisting with equal pay auditing.

  • Conduct and advise on role benchmarking using the Willis Towers Watson process.

  • Assist with reporting for salary surveys and conduct periodic external research on competitor pay and benefits offerings. 

  • Monitor and report on benefits uptake and make recommendations for where we can take proactive steps to improve usage.

  • Oversee benefits administration; including eligibility, invoicing and day-to-day colleague/management queries.

  • Maintain an effective and efficient system to support responding to benefits queries.

  • Liaise with third party benefits providers to resolve queries and assist with supplier relationship management.

  • Develop and maintain the benefits microsite and work to simplify the employee journey and access to our benefits.

  • You will work closely with the Head of Reward, in addition to deputising in their absence.  



  • Undertake research projects and analysis as required.

  • Supporting the wider People Services Team in a provision of services and projects, as required.

What would set you apart:

  • Experience in administering reward, recognition and benefits matters

  • Experience of managing or supporting system and reward related projects

  • HR Shared Services experience or working in the retail or hospitality sector

  • Experience of working with an in house payroll team / payroll bureau

  • Knowledge of Google applications

  • Experience of Willis Towers Watson job grading/benchmarking
