The job in a nutshell

As an Employee Relations Administrator you’ll support the Employee Relations Team by coordinating case activity, maintaining records and dashboards, providing data, SLA compliance, inbox management.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Inbox Management - first line of response for emails, prioritisation and distribution of emails and activities, maintenance of labelling and email filing.
  • ER case administration - checking and filing of invite letters, compiling case folders ensuring documents are dated in the correct format, calendar invites and case file management. Chase any outstanding documentation to ensure cases are fully completed and documented before being closed.
  • Employee Tribunal Document preparation - support with the collation of bundles, tracking of documentation, ensuring documentation is sent to the appropriate persons in line with required deadlines. Coordinate calendar invites for case updates.
  • Maintenance of trackers - ER tracker, ER Report and Whistleblowing report. Log all cases on trackers in accordance with the standard formatting guidelines ensuring full and accurate recording of the facts. Capture action points and assign them to Advisors to follow up. Ensure cases are progressing through each stage in a timely manner and highlight any non-compliance to the ER Manager.
  • Dashboards - ensure all data is feeding through correctly from trackers so the dashboard is fully completed and reflecting the required information set. Prepare data using the information from the dashboards for monthly reporting.
  • Employee Diversity and Inclusion - support with the coordination of ED&II meetings including invites, attendance and minutes.
  • Support with the administration of training activities - send calendar invites, assist with preparation of course materials, collate feedback.
  • Processing invoices for the Employee Relations Team.
  • Supporting with Data Subject Access Requests.
  • Fourth App - support with on-going content management of the app and posting of new material.
  • Notify the team of upcoming activities on the wider People Plan and arrange suitable diary time for completion of required tasks.
  • Covering for PS Administrator
  • Processing invoices for the People Services Team.

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, especially letter writing and a good understanding of grammar
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Good time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Intermediate Google suite, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact with people at all levels
