Job Description

As a Bench Assistant Hotel Manager in our Principal London and Flagship District you will be responsible for travelling to different size bed Hotel's from 131 up to 457, where you would be responsible for supporting the largest and most profitable hotels in the business.

Your role will be to support some of the below Hotels when required so you must be happy to Travel within the London area.

London Central Euston, London Central Farringdon, London Central Kings Cross, London Central Liverpool Street, London Central Southwark, London Central Tower Bridge, London City Airport, London Docklands, London Excel, London Stratford, London Vauxhall, London Wembley and London Elephant and Castle.

London Central Covent Garden, London Central City Road, London Central Kings Cross Royal Scott, London Central Waterloo, Gatwick Central and London City.

Your role would also include:

  • Primary responsibility for either the housekeeping, reception or bar café teams

  • Reviewing customer feedback in your department to produce targeted action plans

  • Working with team members to create personal development plans

  • Recruiting motivated team members and making sure they have a warm induction

  • Maximising food and beverage sales by cross and upselling

  • Reporting and overseeing any repairs or maintenance needed

  • Additional responsibilities include rota management, banking and health and safety


The ideal candidate for this role will have preferably been an Assistant Manager, or equivalent, for a minimum of 3 years, in Hotel and have lead at least 20 team members on a shift. Experience of a food and beverage operation isn't essential, but would be advantageous.
