A great opportunity exists to join our highly dynamic Revenue Management team where you will be responsible for maximising Event revenues for Travelodge during our largest events, including Wimbledon, the Grand National, stadium concerts and large conferences. What you’ll be doing:


  • Researching relevant events across the Travelodge estate, highlighting where exceptional demand and higher rate opportunities exist.

  •  Support the UK Event Pricing Manager with the Event Database

  • Support the UK Event Pricing Manager, to observe market conditions and bookings to identify trends at a property level over event periods.

  • Supporting the Revenue Managers with the monitoring of pricing for events, highlighting key risks and opportunities.

  • Carefully monitoring overbooking, length of stay restrictions and out of order issues to ensure optimal revenue performance over event periods.

  • Support with providing reporting and analysis to the UK Events Pricing Manager and Revenue Managers.

  • Assisting in the compilation of post-event performance analysis versus targets and key competitors.

  • Achieve the revenue targets set out in budgets.

  • Support the Event UK Pricing Manager with the IDeaS Revenue Management system to ensure pricing strategies are appropriate.

  • Monitoring demand drivers to ensure market conditions are swiftly reacted to and maximised.

  • Attendance at event meetings with Revenue Managers to ensure revenue strategies on and around key event dates are appropriate.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Work with relevant commercial teams to ensure events are selling correctly

  • Support team to cover holiday, sickness and project work as required.
