Hotels near Trafalgar

In the 18th century, London was the centre of the Empire, and Trafalgar Square was the hub from which everything radiated. The royals were in nearby Buckingham Palace. The government was minutes away in Whitehall. Fast-forward three centuries, and the square's still the centre of it all. Everything's walking distance from our hotels near Trafalgar Square: St James's Park, the London Eye and the Tower of London, to name a few. For people-watching and a top view of Big Ben, find a perfect perch somewhere in the now pigeon-free square.

Book hotels near Trafalgar Square

Book a hotel near Trafalgar Square and you're spoilt for choice. Home to the National Portrait Gallery, with every portrait you can imagine - royals, politicians, even footballers, and the National Art Gallery, home to 2000 works from every European school. Both Galleries are 1.1 miles from our London Covent Garden hotel. If you're with the kids, skip both and head to the Tower of London. If attention spans are super-short, make the Crown Jewels your first stop to avoid the queues. They can also wield swords or bows/arrows and still have tons of energy left for the 0.3 mile walk to our London Central Tower Bridge Hotel.

Things to do near Trafalgar Square

A half-mile away from our London Covent Garden hotel, you'll find the history of transport from the 1800's to now and much more at the London Transport Museum. You can 'drive' a bus or guide a train through tunnels (via an amazing simulator). After that, just for fun, let's transport you back to the early '80s. If you're old enough to remember Mike Myers before Austin Powers, then your first gig at The Comedy Store is just a half a mile away from our Covent Garden hotel. This venue kick-started the careers of Myers, French & Saunders, Paul Merton and Rik Mayall, to name a few.
