We're on the hunt for a Payroll Manager to lead our Travelodge team! You’ll be at the heart of our Financial Control team, working alongside our Group Financial Controller to ensure our payroll processes and team are exceptional.

What’s it all about?

The Payroll Manager role at Travelodge is all about leading and enhancing our payroll operations. You’ll manage our dedicated payroll team while reviewing and optimising processes for our Payroll and Workforce Management System. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure our payroll provision is top-notch, develop Key Performance Metrics, and maintain compliance with payroll legislation. You'll be the go-to person for resolving payroll queries, ensuring that our team continues to deliver outstanding service. Who will this appeal to?

This role would suit an experienced payroll professional. Ideally, someone with a CIPP Degree in Payroll Management (or equivalent experience) who has successfully managed payroll operations for medium to large-sized businesses. Someone with a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills would excel, especially if they’re comfortable collaborating with different teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be someone who can balance day-to-day payroll tasks with big-picture thinking, improving processes, setting Key Performance Metrics, and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation.
