What’s it all about?

Our Head of Employee Relations will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing positive employee relations within the organisation. You will play a crucial role in fostering a harmonious work environment and ensuring the company adheres to employment laws and regulations, as well as helping to create a culture where everyone is treated fairly and consistently. The Head of Employee Relations serves as a trusted advisor to both colleagues and management (including the senior leadership team), providing guidance, support and expertise in the area of employee relations.

In addition, you will be responsible for the ER Strategy and leading the ER team to manage litigation and dispute resolutions, create a framework for continuously improving the ER case management service, be accessible as the senior people escalation contact amongst other senior stakeholders, take a lead role in managing and concluding disciplinary and grievance cases and provide data and insights into key themes and trends from ER cases.

Who will this appeal to?

You will bring extensive experience as a Head of Employee Relations, with in-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices in the field.

You’ll be confident in engaging with and advising colleagues across all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership and the Operating Board, on a wide range of employee relations issues.

With a flexible and proactive approach, you’ll manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. You’ll communicate clearly and concisely, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, while leveraging data, insights, and technology to support your work.
