Pantomimes, mince pies, mulled wine and… theme parks? You might not think places like Alton Towers and LEGOLAND are particularly Christmassy, but Britain’s theme parks are transformed into winter wonderlands during the festive season.

If you’re looking for some chilly thrills beyond the local ice rink, here are five UK theme parks to visit and their Christmas events.

The Build to Give workshop helps bring about the true spirit of the season – every LEGO heart that’s built triggers the donation of a LEGO set to charity!

For an extra magical experience, book a festive sleepover in a LEGO-themed hotel room or upgrade your ticket to meet Father Christmas in his cosy grotto. Both upgrades include a LEGO gift for every child on the booking. With over 20 iconic rides and attractions still open, Christmas at LEGOLAND promises thrills, spills and creative builds!
