New Brighton (Wallasey) Beach
Running between Liverpool and the Wirral Peninsula sits New Brighton Beach, popular for seaside entertainment and gorgeous views of the Liverpool docks.
This sandy beach is perfect for a picnic and sandcastles, as well as sports such as kayaking, jet-skiing and swimming. You may also spot boats and ships travelling down the estuary, as the river is home to Port Elizabeth, a trading port between England and Ireland. Families visiting the area can enjoy beachside entertainment, such as the Black Pearl ship, a ship play area just a short walk away.
