Poppit Sands Beach (Cardigan)
This expansive beach rolls from sandy shores into green grassland dunes, backed by the Teifi Estuary.
At low tide, the trail from the beachside to Gwbert is visible along the sand and makes for a gorgeous photo – just don’t attempt to cross it! The beach is the end of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, a famous path that loops you around Pembrokeshire and the coast of Amroth.
If you’re visiting to play in the sand or relax with the family, then you’ve come to the right place, with a long bay and a wide stretch of sandy area to set up camp. The beach also won the Blue Flag Award in 2026.
