Redcar Beach (Yorkshire)
Redcar Beach is a long stretch of sandy beach backed by vast dunes and an esplanade and plenty of roadside parking.
The town itself boasts a museum containing the world’s oldest surviving lifeboat and Redcar Central railway station, a few hundred meters from the beach. There is also a cinema and several shops and a variety of yummy places to eat and drink.
