St Fagans National Museum of History
Just outside Cardiff, St Fagans is one of Europe’s leading open-air museums.
It’s an incredible place that literally tells the story of how people in Wales have lived, worked, and spent their leisure time over the last 500 years. Historic buildings, from an Iron Age farmstead to a chapel and a school, have been carefully relocated from all over Wales and rebuilt here. You can walk through history!
Here’s the best part: entry is absolutely free, making it an essential, huge, and truly budget-friendly day out for all the family.
