The Albert Memorial

The Albert Memorial

Right across from the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington Gardens, the Albert Memorial is a massive, incredibly ornate monument commissioned by Queen Victoria in memory of her husband, Prince Albert. It’s covered in brilliant sculptures and gold leaf.

It’s an amazing, free sight to see – perfect for admiring the sheer scale and artistry of Victorian architecture. It’s one of those spots that really makes you go “Woah! Would you look at that!”
