Leave the city and make your way to one of the most historic homes in the country Harewood House. Random Fun Fact: Around 120 hours a year are spent changing lightbulbs in the house. Yeesh. Go exploring and find the castle ruins buried deep in the forest. Animal lovers will be happy to learn there are flamingos and penguins on site. Who knew there was a habitat for exotic birds 25 minutes from our Leeds Colton Hotel? For a shopping experience to remember, head to the Victoria Quarter.
