Welcome to Billiingham

Billingham is a moderately sized town in the south-east corner of County Durham. For most of its history, Billingham was a small parish community, with an unremarkable history. In more recent years, industrial firms, most notably the chemical company ICI, has played an important role in its economic growth. The town centre is home to several chains such as Argos, Greggs and Iceland, and is marked by a large statue called The Family.
