Make a splash at The Deep

One of the UK's biggest and best aquariums lies on the meeting point of the River Hull and the Humber Estuary, and is unique in its design. Billing itself as a "submarium", its innovative building - which juts out over the estuary like the proud bow of a ship - hosts thousands of aquatic creatures including several species of shark.

Explore a City of Culture

Hull is a city experiencing a well deserved resurgence in fortune, which was capped by being named 2017 City of Culture. Indeed, the city's museum quarter - featuring the Streetlife Museum of Transport, the Arctic Corsair museum ship, the Hull & East Riding Museum and the excellent Ferens Art Gallery - is an excellent place to take in some cultural delights.

Sample the nightlife of Hull

Hull is not just ideal for a great day out - its nightlife is worth experiencing too. With a great mix of varied restaurants, wine bars, pubs and clubs, as well as music venues and cinemas, it really is "never dull in Hull"

Planning a trip to The Deep? Travelodge Hull Central Hotel is conveniently close, while Travelodge Hull South Cave Hotel on the A63 is well suited for travellers heading in on the motorway.
