Go back to the past in Sudbury Hall and the National Trust Museum of Childhood

You'll be saying, I used to have one of those, as you wander round the Museum of Childhood. You can see how toys have changed from your grandparents time to now. There's also a Victorian school room and you can try some playground games. Sudbury Hall shows off elegant 17th Century craftsmanship with elaborate plasterwork ceilings in the Long Gallery, Grinling Gibbons wooden carvings in the dining room and some stunning paintings.

Sink a pint at the National Brewery Centre
