Visit the academic heart of London

With four campuses by the River Thames and one in South London, the highly-regarded research university of King's College really is at the centre of things in more ways than one. It's one of the highest-rated universities in the world (21st out of more than 800 in the QS World University Rankings) - it's also well situated for students who want to make the most of life in the capital, close to most of the city's biggest attractions.

A taste of campus life

Whether you're visiting friends, family or scouting out your own university placement, it's worth taking in all that the college's campuses have to offer. There are some nice bars, such as the Waterfront at The Strand and Guy's Bar at the Guy's Campus, as well as excellent dining facilities. King's College London Shop at The Strand is worth a visit for university related gifts and souvenirs, too.

Hit the bright lights

King's is the most central university in London, meaning all that the city has to offer is within easy reach. The National Theatre, London Zoo, boat trips on the Thames, London Dungeon and the London Eye are just a few of the sights on the doorstep. Planning a trip to King's College? Travelodge London Central Covent Garden Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the centre of the main campus, while Travelodge London Central Southwark Hotel and Travelodge London Central Waterloo Hotel are both handy for the South Bank.
