Catering for kids from 5 years upwards, Aldborough Hall Equestrian Centre provides horse riding lessons for children and adults with all levels of ability welcomed. There are private lessons for more advanced horse riders and small group lessons which makes the activity better value, particularly good if you're a beginner.
Great outdoors
Within 5 minutes' walk of Gants Hill Underground Station (Central line), you can take a stroll around the eye-catching Valentines Mansion & Gardens. This 130-acre Park was opened in 2012 by the Queen and has attractive, leafy gardens with ponds to admire. There is a great animal corner and aviary which is perfect for kids and pop in to Gardener's Cottage cafe open from 10am every day for refreshments.
