The perfect place for London sightseeing

Piccadilly Circus is a great base from which to explore the very best of what the UK's first city has to offer, from shopping to museums to restaurants. A theatre-goer's dream, it's just moments away from some of the most famous stages in the world.

A shopper's paradise

Piccadilly Circus is surrounded by fantastic shopping experiences. A five-minute walk will bring you to Regent Street, home to some of London's oldest and most famous shops including Hamleys and Liberty. 15 minutes will take you to Oxford Street, with its 300+ designer outlets and landmark stores, including the legendary Selfridges. Nestled between Oxford Street and Regent Street is the iconic Carnaby Street, an intriguing mix of independent boutiques, heritage brands and new designer names. Just beyond Oxford Street you'll find Bond Street and Mayfair, the city's most exclusive shopping area, home to names such as Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co.

Art and culture

London is world-renowned for its museums, many of which are free to enter but there are far too many to name them all here. Some of the best include the British Museum, dedicated to human history, art and culture; the National Gallery, housing a collection of over 2,300 paintings from mid-13th century to 1900; and the London Transport Museum (free admission for kids), a fantastic day out for the kids with life-sized trains, cars and engines to clamber on.

There are many Travelodge Hotels across London with the Nearest ones to Piccadilly Circus being London Covent Garden, London Central Euston and London Central Waterloo - all within 2 miles.
