St George's Hospital - star of Channel 4's 24 Hours in A&E

Based in Tooting, London, St George's Hospital is one of the UK's largest teaching hospitals in the country. Since 2014 it has also been the setting for Channel 4's popular fly-on-the-wall documentary series 24 Hours in A&E, showing staff dealing with a wide array of accidents and emergencies. The hospital was founded in 1733, and offers specialist care for complex injuries and illnesses.

Monkey business at Battersea Park Children's Zoo

Kids will go wild for Battersea Park Children's Zoo, less than four miles from St George's Hospital. Specialising in care for some of the cutest species in the animal kingdom, the zoo is home to monkeys, lemurs, donkeys and chipmunks, to name but a few. Daily feedings and talks help children learn more about the creatures, and there's also a fun adventure playground with mini diggers, a sandpit and trampolines.

Situated six miles from St George's Hospital in upmarket Kensington, The Victoria and Albert Museum is renowned as the largest museum of decorative arts and design, with over 4.5 million objects. Named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, it was founded in 1852 and houses resources for the study of fashion, furniture, jewellery, theatre and design.
