Get sporty at the University of York

The museum is home to the Mallard, the fastest steam train in the world. The record, set in the 1930s, has never been beaten. Another must-see is the Japanese bullet train, which travelled at speeds of up to 130mph when it whisked passengers to and from Tokyo.
