Martin joined Travelodge in April 2021 and has spent most of his career within the leisure sector and brings a wealth of brand building, strategic management and leadership expertise.

Martin is also Chairman of Burger King UK and Parkdean Resorts, having previously chaired Center Parcs in the UK and Europe, Holmes Place Healthclubs and Wagamama. As well as sitting on the Boards of Disneyland Paris, Regus Plc and Scottish & Newcastle Retail. Earlier in his career, he worked at Reckitt & Colman and Sara Lee Corporation and was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co Inc.

Martin has a degree in Geography from Keeble College, Oxford and has two grown up children.

Craig Bonnar- CEO

Craig joined Travelodge in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer, a role in which he had direct management responsibility for leading the group’s hotel operations across more than 550 hotels in the UK and Spain. On the 7th May 2021, Craig was promoted to Interim Chief Executive and sits on the Main Board.

Prior to joining Travelodge, Craig spent more than twenty years with Asda Wal-Mart. During a career that began with a spell on the checkouts before joining the company’s graduate training programme, Craig held a range of senior positions including managing director of the cleaning and facilities business City FM, operations director for Scotland & Northern Ireland, head of retail operations and vice president, store proposition and format development.

Craig is married with three children and graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a Masters Degree in Economics.

Jo Boydell

Chief Financial Officer

Jo joined Travelodge in March 2013, and has held senior finance roles at some of the most well-known consumer facing brands.

A qualified accountant, with a broad based experience as a financial professional in private and public companies, Jo brings a wealth of expertise to Travelodge.

Jo was previously finance director at Mothercare and Snap Equity Ltd, the parent company of Jessops, and she has also worked for Ladbrokes plc, Hilton Group plc, and the EMI Group.

As Chief Financial Officer, Jo is responsible for the overseeing all of the Company's finance functions, including group and property finance, operational finance and accounting.

Jo is married with one child.
