Martin Robinson,


Martin joined Travelodge in April 2021 and has spent most of his career within the leisure sector and brings a wealth of brand building, strategic management and leadership expertise.

Martin is also Chairman of Burger King UK and Parkdean Resorts, having previously chaired Center Parcs in the UK and Europe, Holmes Place Health Clubs and Wagamama, as well as sitting on the Boards of Disneyland Paris, Regus Plc and Scottish & Newcastle Retail. Earlier in his career, he worked at Reckitt & Colman and Sara Lee Corporation and was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co Inc.

Martin has a degree in Geography from Keeble College, Oxford, and has two grown-up children.

Jo Boydell,

Chief Executive Officer

Jo joined Travelodge in March 2013 as Chief Financial Officer, a role in which she was responsible for overseeing all of the Company's finance functions, as well as Risk, Legal and Procurement. In May 2022, Jo was promoted to Chief Executive.

Jo is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours Degree in Physics from Oxford University. She has broad-based experience as a financial professional in private and public companies, bringing a wealth of expertise to Travelodge. Prior to joining the company, Jo was Finance Director at Mothercare and has held senior positions with Hilton Group plc, Ladbrokes plc, EMI Group and Snap Equity Ltd, the parent company of Jessops.

Jo joined DFS Furniture plc in December 2018 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and became Chair of their Audit Committee on 1 April 2019.

Jo is married with one child.
