Today, Mrs Terry Lello, the Mayor of Hayle, officially opened Travelodge's 292nd hotel. Located at A30 Carwin Roundabout, Hayle, Cornwall, TR27 4PN. Hayle Travelodge has 39 bedrooms, it has created 15 new jobs within the community and cost £1.5 million to build.
Joining the Mayor were pupils from Bodriggy primary school. To mark the opening of Hayle Travelodge, Class 2, Year 6 were set a class project of drawing their fantasy bedroom. The Mayor selected the winning picture, which was drawn by Rachel, Head Librarian, the runner ups were: Kerris, Deputy Head Boy and Kane, Head Boy.
Rachel has won a weekend stay at a Travelodge hotel of her choice for her family and her picture will be hung in the hotel reception area. All participating children were awarded a goodie bag.
Hayle Travelodge will offer rooms from as little as £26 per night. There is a choice of either a double, family or disabled room, each offering a comfortable setting with en-suite bathroom, luxury king size bed, colour TV with in room entertainment including pay on demand movies, telephone, Internet services and free tea and coffee making facilities. Free on site car parking is also provided for guests.
A breakfast on the go service will be available to guests, the breakfast bag costs £4.00 and contains a selection of breakfast goodies and can be delivered to the guests door between 5am to 7am or purchased from reception 24 hours.
