Travelodge, the UK's number one budget hotel brand, has 262 hotels throughout the UK, in most major city centres. This year it celebrates its 20th anniversary and for the first time since the company began in 1985, Travelodge has developed a new modern brand identity which reflects the warm welcome and good night's sleep that Travelodge offers its customers. Scunthorpe Travelodge is one of the first hotels to receive the new brand identity signage internally and externally.

The hotel offers a choice of either a double or family room, each offering a comfortable setting with en-suite bathroom, luxury king size bed, colour TV with in room entertainment which offers pay on demand movies, telephone and Internet services and free tea and coffee making facilities. Free on site car parking is also provided for guests.

A new vending machine has been introduced at Scunthorpe Travelodge which offers alcoholic beverages at £2.50 each. There is a choice of wines, lager and bitter. This service is only available to Traveloge guests who are over the age of 18 years old. A token must be obtained from reception first, in order to purchase the drinks.

Mark Harris, Scunthorpe Travelodge Manager, said "We have had a fantastic response since we opened our hotel, it has been full every night. Travelodge offers the perfect solution for a hassle free stop-over, ideal for local residents who have family or friends visiting or for business or leisure travellers into Scunthorpe. We offer a comfortable room from as little as £26, which is the smart choice when looking for a good night sleep".
