Notes to Editor:
As well as breaking a UK record for opening eight hotels in one day, Travelodge has also launched a new pricing strategy, which will deliver £20 million price cuts to customers in 2006. This will include a hundred thousand £10 rooms, 500,000 £26 rooms and price cuts on thousands of standard room rates. St Austell and surrounding Travelodge hotels within Cornwall will benefit from this new pricing strategy, which will help drive more business into the region.

Travelodge has 288 hotels throughout the UK, located in most major city centres. Over six million people stay with Travelodge every year.
