University of Aberdeen - a truly historical place of learning

With campuses in the city centre and two miles north at Old Aberdeen, University of Aberdeen is the fifth oldest in the English-speaking world. It was founded in 1495, making for one very impressive pedigree of learning. Many internaitonal students make up the huge 13,500 students from undergraduate to doctoral level. Pittodrie Stadium - home to Aberdeen FC

Only 4 minutes from University of Aberdeen, Pittodrie Stadium was first built in 1899 and has been the home ground of Aberdeen FC since they first formed in 1903. One of the largest stadiums in Scotland, it's a must-visit to catch Aberdeen in action, or for Scottish international matches, rugby and occasional music concerts.
