Woburn: a picture-perfect Georgian village

The stunning Georgian architecture is the cherry on the cake in this beautiful Bedfordshire village. The area was badly damaged after a fire swept through the main streets in the 18th century, and was rebuilt in the style you see today. Many of the buildings still retain original medieval features saved from the fire. You can learn more about Woburn's past at the Heritage Centre in St. Mary's Church.

A majestic welcome at Woburn Abbey

Just minutes from Woburn village centre lies this magnificent country house and gardens. Woburn Abbey is a Grade-I-listed building that has been home to the Dukes of Bedford for over 400 years. Marvel at the Abbey's collection of famous paintings, get lost in the pagoda maze, take tea in the Duchess's Tea Room, and see the UK's largest herd of Pere David deer at the Deer Park. With acres of garden to explore, there's plenty to see and do.
