Home to both Bristol City FC and Bristol Rugby, Ashton Gate is a well-equipped 27,000-seat stadium on the south-west of the city centre itself. Having recently undergone an extensive redevelopment, it's bigger and better than ever - and yet much of the spirit of the place remains, and there's a sense of history around a ground which first opened in 1887.
