Crowborough is a town in East Sussex that is nestled in the heart of the beautiful High Weald Area of Natural Beauty. Just five minutes' drive away is Bowles Outdoor Centre where you can have a go at climbing the natural sandstone outcrop. For wonderful walks, head to Ashdown Forest Centre which has lots of routes to choose from. The National Trust run Scotney Castle and Standen House and Garden are both well worth a visit. Or try Groombridge Place Estates where you can have a go on the treetops walkway and admire the animal collection. Seek out the Nearby Crown Inn afterwards for a pint and some food.
